Kaivalya Upanishad Commentary by Swami chinmayanand

Upanishads are the philosophical portion of vedas.Of About 280 Upanishads unearthed so far,108 have been accepted as authentic texts, and out of them eleven have been commented upon by recent emminent philosophers and dharma gurus. The other Upanishads are considered as minors-not on account of their content, or in the depth of their thoughts, but because no commentaries are available from great acharyas.

Kaivalyopanisad belongs to the Atharv- veda. In this Upanishad, Asvalayana, the great teacher of Rig-veda is a disciple and Lord Bramha, the Creator himself is the teacher, which makes it most valuable amongst the Upanishads.                                                                            Since Upanishads are philosophical portions of vedas with scientific arrangement of highly philosophical ideas, layman  may find it difficult to understand these philosophical ideas but swami chinmayanand in this commentary explains philosophy, ideas and discussion between asvalayana and Lord Bramha in a manner that even a layman can easily understand and even a person with no understand of vedic philosophy can easily learn and understand the deep philosophy of the Upanishad.
