2014 was a year of significance in the electoral history of independent India. For the first time, a non-congress government won a complete majority in the Lok Sabha (Lower House of the Indian Parliament). The BJP won more than 272 seats, the minimum required to form a government in Lok Sabha on its own, led by Narendra Modi, and the NDA, a coalition led by the BJP, won more than 300 seats. This was unprecedented as no political party other than the Indian National Congress has managed to touch this number. This mandate clearly showed people’s discontent with the previous regime, its policies, rampant corruption, and appeasement politics. Moreover, minority appeasement and anti-Hindu policies were among the major reasons for discontent against that government. Dr. Manmohan Singh, the then prime minister, once said, "Muslims have first right on resources." It clearly shows the mentality and policy of that government. Narendra Modi’s victory gave hope to many Indians who were fed up with the previous regime's appeasement politics, as they were promised by the BJP that their government would do away with minority appeasement and anti-Hindu policies. He was even called "Hindu hriday samrat" by his supporters.

However, it is unfortunate that the Modi government has not only failed to deliver on this promise, but it went a step ahead of the previous regime in minority appeasement. The government is not only jeopardising Hindu interests but also taking their support for granted.

DUMPED CAA/ NRC :

Do you remember the 2020 Delhi riots and the Saheen Bagh protest? The roads of Delhi were hijacked by so-called peaceful protesters who were protesting against the implementation of the citizenship amendment Act and the NRC. The protest lasted for more than a year, creating trouble for local people, which further led to anti-Hindu riots and only ended after COVID and the government of India did literally nothing to prevent the Delhi riots. The law aims to provide citizenship to religiously persecuted minorities of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh who came to India before December 31st, 2014. The bill has already been approved by the president of India, but the government is yet to notify the act. It appears that the so-called Hindu nationalist party does not want to offend India's so-called peaceful minority, and it has even abandoned its promise to implement a nation-wide NRC to expel infiltrators from the country, which it made in its 2019 election manifesto.

SILENCE ON KASHI AND MATHURA

The historic verdict of the Supreme Court paved the way for the construction of the grand temple of Shri Ram in his birthplace. This was a long-standing demand of the Hindus, and many karsevaks gave up their lives for the cause. Therefore, the grand ram is a tribute to those karsevaks in the true sense. The moment this historic decision came out, BJP leaders rushed to take all credit for Ram Mandir's construction and claimed that it delivered one of its major promises, which has been part of their manifesto since the formation of Jan Sangh. But the fact of the matter is that it was the supreme court’s decision which is responsible for the construction of the Ram temple and litigants involved in the matter deserve credit and appreciation, not the central government. The infant BJP-led union government virtually did nothing on this matter. So, claiming credit for Ram Mandir is nothing more than a political stunt. If the BJP and their government are truly concerned about Hindu temples, they should use their parliamentary power to resolve the long-pending Kashi-Mathura dispute and pave the way for the construction of grand temples on the disputed sites of Kashi and Mathura, which were originally significant hindu temples.Unfortunately, it seems minority appeasement is the priority of the Modi government, not kashi mathura.

NOT CHANGING TEXTBOOKS:

It is rightly said, "never permit those who hate your heritage to educate your children". Unfortunately, exactly the same thing is happening in India. The entire Indian academia is controlled by left-marxists who are using academia to brainwash Indian youth. Hinduphobia, false claims, and colonial propaganda are being taught in Indian schools and universities in the name of academics. It has been almost 8 years since the BJP came to power at the centre, but no concrete step has been taken to correct and decolonize Indian academia. On the contrary, their education minister proudly said on the floor of parliament that they have not changed even a single page of school textbooks. This statement demonstrates how clueless this government is, as well as their misplaced priorities.

MUSLIM APPEASEMENT:

There is a major difference between the BJP and the Congress party. While the Congress appeases those who support them, the BJP appeases those who will never support them.During his tenure, Dr. Manmohan Singh stated that Muslims have first right to India's resources, and it appears that the BJP is following in the footsteps of the previous regime. One must remember that Muslims are not a minority in India; they are the second-largest population in the country. The population of Muslims in India is larger than that of Pakistan. Still, they are considered a minority in India and hence enjoy an unfair advantage. They receive a major chunk of benefits from government schemes, hence snatching the rights of real minorities, i.e., jains, Buddhists, and Sikhs.

INACTION ON MURDER AND LYNCHING OF HINDUS:

Not very long ago, the news of the alleged murder of a Muslim man, Akhalab, by an alleged gaurakshak for killing a cow, created a ruckus in the Indian media. This incident not only received attention from the national media but also gained significant attention from the international media. The Hindus were declared intolerant by the leftist ecosystem. The government was accused of being anti-muslim. The opposition party leader went to meet the family of Akhlab. The central government was on the backfoot while dealing with this issue.

Compare this to recent events: Kishan, a resident of Gujarat, was murdered by Muslims for a social media post in which he stated Shi Krishna is the supreme god; Lavanya, a girl from Tamil Nadu, was tortured and harrased by Christian missionaries for not converting to Christianity; and in Palghar, a sadhu was murdered by Muslims for allegedly making derogatory remarks about Prophet Mohammed. Rupesh pandey, a17 year old, only child of his parents had gone to attend saraswati pooja visarjan was brutally killed by Mohammad anees, Mohammad kaif, Mohammad gufran, mohd chand, mohammad osama, mohd nasid.Similarly last year, a boy was killed by police during a peaceful Durga Visarjan procession. Now one should ask how many of these incidents drew the attention of the Indian Parliament, national media, and human rights organisations, let alone the international community. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his concern and issued a tweet after Shabana Azmi, an actress and Islamist, was involved in a minor accident, but he did not bother to express his anguish or condolences on any of these incidents, and he did not even issue a tweet, let alone take any action against the murderers.

If one examines the past seven years of this government and studies its deeds and actions in depth, one will find numerous incidents of deception of Hindus, jeopardization of Hindu interests, and appeasement of Muslims and Christians. This government promised to rehabilitate Kashmiri Hindus, but has done nothing for nearly 8 years. In India, Muslims, Christians, and Sikhs independently manage their respective religious institutions and places of worship, but Hindu temples are controlled by the state. Christian missionaries are receiving direct support from state governments such as Andhra Pradesh, as well as indirect support from so-called Hindu supremacist governments, in their efforts to convert Hindus. In a nutshell, hindus in India are treated as subhumans. It will not take much time for India to become the lost state of Hindus, as the current government will be equally responsible for this. This government has repeatedly demonstrated that it is the election that is most important, not India, Indian, or Hindu interests.
